General

  How far in advance can I reserve?

Depending on the season, you can make reservation one month prior to your visit. However, when a special exhibit is coming up, the days you can reserve ahead might be shortened.

  Do I need to register an e-mail address?

Yes.

  Which browsers can be used to access Web Reservation?

Following have been tested: Safari, Google Chrome on Apple iPhone/iPad (iOS 12 or above). Google Chrome, Default Browser on Android (OS version 6 or above). Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox on Microsoft Windows. Safari and Google Chrome on MacOS. Internet Explorer on Microsoft Windows is not supported. This is not to say that we guarantee the support for all devices and OSs.

  What time can I make reservation?

Reservation can be made anytime of the day. If you encounter maintenance time, please wait and try again.

  I want to reserve multiple slots on a same day…

You can reserve only one slot per day. Please make reservation on another day(s).

Receiving Confirmation / Entrance

  I'm not getting confirmation e-mail message.

If you are using spam filter (e.g. blocking e-mail from PC), reservation confirmation message might be blocked. Before making reservation, please allow messages from "@inochinotabi-yoyaku.jp".

  The sent email is garbled.

If you have multiple e-mail addresses, changing the e-mail address and registering for a new time may eliminate the garbled characters.
For those who cannot make web reservation but can come directly to the ticket counter, small number of hour designated tickets for the day will be issued. However, the number of the available tickets depends on Web Reservation. (We do not accept reservation by phone call, postcard, etc.) Web reservation will have priority so we may not accommodate your wishes.

  My smartphone's battery run out (so I cannot show my QR code)

QR code is in the confirmation message and in the attached PDF. Please have a printout of QR code containing PDF. Or fully charge your smartphone before visiting the Museum.

  I arrived early.

Even if you arrive early, you will not be admitted in. Please wait until your reserved hour.

  I'm late.

Even if you late , you might not be admitted in. Please come on time.

  Where is the QR code?

Your reservation confirmation e-mail message contains the QR code per person. Also the attached PDF will contain all the QR codes. Please show the QR code(s) or printed out PDF when being admitted in.

  I cannot print out QR code.

You can just display the QR code from your reservation confirmation e-mail message on your device. Staff will scan the QR code off your screen.

  I made reservation but did not receive a QR code. Will I be admitted in?

If you do not have a QR code but if your reservation is listed in Reserved List, you can follow the steps show below to be admitted.
Log on to Web Reservation. Click on Menu located at top left to display Reserved List. Your reservation's time and date will be shown. Keep the screen as is or print it out and show it at the entrance staff. You'll be admitted in.

  My device's screen is shuttered, all cracked up. Is it still ok?

Your QR code maybe unreadable. Please bring along the print out of the attached PDF.

  Can I make a reservation on the spot to get in?

If there is an opening for the next hour slot or the following, you may make a reservation. Enter the Museum after you've received your reservation confirmation message.

  I made reservation for a number of people using same device (e-mail address). How do we get admitted in?

When you make reservation, you'll receive QR codes for the number of people you made reservation for. You can show those QR codes for all who are with you. If you are entering the Museum separately, you can either forward their QR code(s). or let them have the printed out QR code(s).

  Even if I click "Go to reservation screen", the screen turns white and the reservation screen is not displayed.

The URL to move to the reservation screen can be used only once, so if you click it multiple times, please wait a while and try again from the museum homepage.

Change / Cancel

  Can I change or cancel my reservation?

Yes, you can. Log on to Web Reservation with your e-mail address, click on Menu. Your reservation will be listed. Select the reservation you want to change/cancel, and click "Cancel". If you are making changes, make a new reservation.
